Care That Comes to You

We help people stay home safely, comfortably, and on their own terms.

We match experienced, background-checked caregivers with clients who need help with the everyday things: getting dressed, preparing meals, moving safely through the house, staying connected to the people they love.

No hospitals. No facilities. Just consistent, attentive, non-medical care in the home where your loved one is most comfortable. We're a small, locally owned agency, not a franchise, so every family gets real attention rather than a case number.

A note on what we don't do

We are a non-medical agency. We don't provide wound care, injections, physical therapy, or any skilled nursing services, and we don't offer specialized dementia or memory care. If your loved one needs medical home health or memory care, we're glad to help you think through the right resources and can work alongside a licensed provider.

What's next

Getting started is simple. We made sure of it.

Most families are fully up and running within five to seven days of first contact.

1

Call or contact us

We pick up or call back the same day. There is no voicemail maze and no repetitive intake form.

2

Free in-home visit

We spend an hour getting to know the home, the routines, and what matters most to your family.

3

We build the care plan with you

The right hours, the right tasks, the right schedule, and a caregiver matched for personality and skill.

4

Care begins

Your caregiver starts. We check in during week one and adjust quickly if anything needs to change.

What Makes Us Different

Every agency says "compassionate and trustworthy." Here's what we actually do.

We limit the number of clients we take on so every family gets our real attention. We would rather turn away business than place a caregiver we're not confident in.

Licensed by the State of Texas Insured All Caregivers Background-Checked
1

We're small on purpose

When you call, you're talking to someone who knows your case, not a call center.

2

We keep our caregiver pool selective

Thorough interviews, multi-level background checks, reference calls, and ongoing check-ins after placement.

3

We don't disappear after placement

We check in regularly with families and caregivers, because situations change and care plans should too.

4

We know this part of Houston

We focus on Houston's west side, the neighborhoods inside and along the West Loop, so we can actually show up quickly.

5

Transparent pricing, always

We accept private pay, and we're upfront about cost from the first conversation.

Our Commitments

What you can count on

We're a new agency, and we'd rather earn your trust with specifics than with slogans. Here's exactly what we hold ourselves to.

Licensed and insured

Oak Tree is a licensed non-medical home care agency in the State of Texas, and we carry liability coverage.

Caregivers are our employees

Not contractors. We run the background checks, we carry the workers' comp, we handle the taxes and the training. If something goes wrong, the responsibility is ours, not yours.

No long-term contracts

You're never locked in. Change the schedule, change the caregiver, or stop entirely without penalties or a notice period buried in fine print.

You'll reach a person

No call trees, no overnight voicemail that nobody hears until Monday. When you call about your family, someone who knows your case picks up.

Where We Work

Rooted in Houston.

We serve the west side of the loop, the neighborhoods inside and along the West Loop, from the close-in inner loop out to the communities that line it. Staying within one part of town is how we respond quickly and build real relationships where we work.

Inside & along the West Loop

From the inner-loop neighborhoods just west of downtown out to the communities lining the West Loop. One connected part of Houston, covered end to end.

A caregiver who's nearby

Because we stay on this side of town, help is rarely far away when a schedule shifts or a new need comes up.

Caregivers who know the area

Our team lives and works out here, so the streets, routes, and rhythms of your neighborhood are already familiar.

That includes neighborhoods like Bellaire, West University, Meyerland, the Heights, Montrose, River Oaks, and the Galleria area, among many others across the west side. Don't see yours? Just ask.

Questions Families Usually Ask

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Medicare cover your services?
No. Non-medical home care (bathing, meals, companionship, housekeeping, etc) is generally not covered by Medicare, which covers skilled medical services only.
How quickly can care start?
In most cases, we can have care in place within five to seven days of your first call. For urgent situations like a hospital discharge or a sudden change in condition, let us know and we'll do our best to move faster.
What if I don't like the caregiver?
Tell us and we'll work to find a better match. Caregiver fit matters to us, and you're never locked into anything.
Are your caregivers employees or contractors?
Our caregivers are employees of Oak Tree Home Care. They're covered by our insurance, we handle their background checks and tax withholding, and we're responsible for their performance so you don't have to manage any of that.
What's the difference between non-medical home care and home health care?
Home health care involves licensed medical professionals providing skilled clinical services, often prescribed by a doctor. Non-medical home care is what we do: help with everyday activities, companionship, housekeeping, and personal care. Many families use both at once.
Do you serve clients in assisted living or memory care facilities?
Yes. We can supplement care in a facility setting, providing one-on-one companionship and support that facilities often can't offer given their staffing ratios.
What neighborhoods do you serve?
We serve Houston's west side, specifically the neighborhoods inside and along the West Loop. That includes areas like Bellaire, West University, Meyerland, the Heights, Montrose, River Oaks, and the Galleria, among many others. If you're not sure whether we cover your area, just ask.
